The bird, which appears to be flying on one wing in a photograph taken at a biosphere reserve in Ireland, has sparked curiosity among many.

Michael Keating, a bus driver living in the Ballymun area of Ireland, accidentally captured a moment when one of two Branta bernicla birds, belonging to the black goose genus,It looks like it's flying with one wing.in the Bull Island Biosphere Reserve, Dublin Bay,ExpressThe news was reported on September 28th.
The photo sparked debate among Michael's family and friends. The most plausible explanation was that the bird flying next to it had inadvertently obscured one of the other bird's wings, or that the photo was taken at the exact moment the bird had both wings raised.
"I went to the island to photograph Branta birds, especially in flight. After returning home, I discovered that the photo of the bird looked like it was missing a wing..."The photo is also special because it captures the moment the bird is sticking its tongue out. I guess it's calling to another bird or licking its mouth after eating something delicious," Michael commented.
