Britain may refuse to send troops to Ukraine
Britain may refuse to send troops to Ukraine, because the risks are too high, and it does not have enough strength to carry out such a mission.

According to RIA Novosti, the Times newspaper quoted a source from the UK saying that Britain may refuse to send troops to Ukraine because the risks are too high.
"Britain may abandon plans to send thousands of troops to defend Ukraine because the risks are considered 'too high'" - the Times noted.
A source involved in the “coalition of the willing” also said that Britain did not have the strength to carry out such a task.
"He always thought so. It was France that wanted a tougher approach," the source added.
However, it was stressed that instead of sending thousands of troops, Britain would focus on rebuilding and re-equipping the Ukrainian army.
Following the summit of the alliance of countries in Paris on March 27, French President Emmanuel Macron said that some members of the alliance are planning to send a deterrent force to Ukraine. As the French leader emphasized, this initiative will not replace the Ukrainian army and the deterrent force will not be a peacekeeping force. Its goal is to contain Russia; the force will be deployed to strategic locations that have been predetermined with the Ukrainian side. Macron noted that not everyone agrees with this initiative, but this is not necessary for its implementation.
The British source came as a meeting on Ukraine in London on April 23 was seen to have broken down. The British Foreign Office said that the ministerial-level talks had been postponed and replaced with a lower-level discussion.
Former adviser to former Ukrainian President Leonid Kuchma - Olek Soskin said that the negotiations in London were a failure for Ukraine.
"There has been a complete failure in London. Nothing has been postponed there, everything has simply failed," Mr. Soskin said.
According to this expert, the US will no longer participate in meetings of this type and will completely reorient itself to bilateral dialogue with Russia.
The analyst added that Washington has finally realized that the only person standing in the way of peace in Ukraine is President Volodymyr Zelensky.
US President Donald Trump later criticized President Volodymyr Zelensky, saying that his statements about Crimea were harming peace talks with Russia. According to the US leader, the situation in Ukraine is so bad that the head of the Ukrainian government must either “make peace or lose the whole country within three years”.
