Brothers broke into a factory at night and stole 44 rolls of electrical wire worth over 70 million VND.
The police in Hung Nguyen commune (Nghe An province) have investigated and arrested two brothers who stole 44 rolls of various types of electrical wire, causing damage of over 70 million VND to a company located in the commune.
Earlier, on the afternoon of September 6th, the Hung Nguyen Commune Police received a report from a company located in Hung Nguyen Commune stating that on the evening of September 5th, 2025, thieves broke into their factory and stole 44 rolls of various types of electrical wire with a total value of over 70 million VND.
Immediately after receiving the report, the Hung Nguyen commune police mobilized their forces and quickly verified the incident. Because the theft occurred at night and the company's factory area lacked surveillance cameras, the investigation faced considerable difficulties.

Using professional investigative methods, in less than two days from receiving the report until the morning of September 8th, the Hung Nguyen Commune Police clarified the case and arrested two suspects who committed theft at the aforementioned company's factory: Nguyen Quang Viet (born in 2001) and Nguyen Huu Bang (born in 2003), both residing in Tam Hop Commune, Nghe An Province. All stolen property was recovered and returned to the victim. Notably, Viet and Bang are brothers from the same family.
At the police station, the suspects confessed that, having previously worked at the aforementioned company's factory, Viet knew there were rolls of electrical wire in the area, which gave him the idea to steal the property to sell for personal use. On the evening of September 5th, Viet invited his younger brother, Bang, to wear raincoats and face masks before breaking into the company's factory to commit the theft.
Currently, the Hung Nguyen commune police are continuing to investigate and strictly handle the suspects in accordance with the law.
