Brothers broke into a factory at night and stole 44 rolls of electric wire worth more than 70 million VND.
Hung Nguyen Commune Police (Nghe An Province) have just investigated and arrested two brothers who stole 44 rolls of various types of electric wire, causing damage of more than 70 million VND to a company headquartered in the commune.
Previously, on the afternoon of September 6, Hung Nguyen Commune Police received a report from a company headquartered in Hung Nguyen Commune that on the evening of September 5, 2025, thieves broke into the factory and stole 44 rolls of various types of electric wire with a total value of more than 70 million VND.
Immediately after receiving the report, Hung Nguyen Commune Police mobilized forces to quickly verify the incident. Because the theft occurred at night and the company's factory area did not have surveillance cameras, the investigation process encountered many difficulties.

Using professional measures, in less than 2 days from receiving the report until the morning of September 8, Hung Nguyen Commune Police clarified and arrested 2 subjects who committed the act of stealing property at the factory of the above company, Nguyen Quang Viet (born 2001) and Nguyen Huu Bang (born 2003), both residing in Tam Hop Commune, Nghe An Province, and recovered all the property and returned it to the victim. Notably, Viet and Bang are brothers in the same family.
At the police station, the suspects confessed that because they used to work at the above-mentioned company's factory, Viet knew that there were coils of electric wire in this area, and from there came the idea of stealing property to sell for personal expenses. On the evening of September 5, Viet invited Bang, his younger brother, to wear a raincoat and a mask to break into the company's factory to commit the theft.
Currently, Hung Nguyen Commune Police are continuing to investigate and strictly handle the subjects according to the provisions of the law.
