| Currently, Tuong Son commune has 3 hectares of land planted with cucumbers, involving over 30 households, mainly concentrated in Hamlet 7. Significantly, the people of Tuong Son have gradually found a stable market for their produce. According to local estimates, one sao (approximately 1000 square meters) of cucumbers yields 1 to 1.2 tons, selling at 10,000 to 12,000 VND/kg. After deducting costs, each sao yields over 10 million VND. This translates to over 100 million VND per hectare for the farmers. |
