(Baonghean.vn) - Recognizing that the task of training, educating, and creating a pool of new Party members from the youth union members is an important one, the Anh Son District Youth Union has actively and proactively advised and introduced hundreds of outstanding youth union members to the Party for consideration and admission.

Young Party member Nguyen Van Anh from Hamlet 1.5, Cam Son Commune, after graduating from high school, did not apply to universities or colleges but chose to establish his own business right in his hometown with a comprehensive farm model raising 300 pigs, 1,000 chickens, and 1 hectare of forest for raw materials, generating an income of 200 million VND per year.

Not only is he a successful businessman, Mr. Nguyen Van Anh also actively participates in volunteer activities organized by the youth union and is very conscious of maintaining security and order and protecting the environment... With these achievements, in 2015, he was honored to be admitted to the Party. Mr. Nguyen Van Anh shared: "Being in the ranks of the Party is an honor, a source of pride, and also a responsibility. Clearly understanding the role of a Party member, I always strive to develop my family's economy and be a role model in activities in the village so that other youth union members can follow my example."

According to Mr. Nguyen Van Khanh, Secretary of the Cam Son Commune Youth Union: “From 2012 to the present, Cam Son commune has had 51 outstanding Youth Union members admitted to the Party. To create a source for Party member development, in addition to training and educating Youth Union members on political ideology and ethics, the grassroots Youth Union branches also organize many emulation movements to develop the economy, improve environmental sanitation, and contribute to building new rural areas... Through the implementation of patriotic emulation movements, many outstanding Youth Union members have been discovered, trained, and admitted to the Party.”

For Mr. Nguyen Viet Hoang in Hamlet 2, Tao Son Commune, he built his career by raising cattle for fattening and running a pig farm with 100 pigs. Currently, he earns over 300 million VND per year. Not only has he enriched his own family, but Mr. Hoang also actively guides other members of the Youth Union branch on how to develop their businesses. In recognition of his efforts, in September 2016, Nguyen Viet Hoang was honored to join the Party.

According to Mr. Nguyen Van Duc, Secretary of the Youth Union of Tao Son commune: Tao Son commune has 75 Youth Union members operating in 12 branches. From 2010 to the present, the entire commune has built 15 economic models generating income of 60 million VND or more, notably the models of young Party members such as Mr. Nguyen Van Tung, Mr. Nguyen Viet Nghia, Mr. Nguyen Viet Hoang…

Currently, Anh Son district has 6,059 Youth Union members and young people participating in activities at 47 Youth Union branches, including 816 Party members. To create a source for developing Party members, the Youth Union branches have proactively advised the Party committees at all levels to develop plans and propose targets for Party development among Youth Union members; assigned tasks to Party members in the branches, and provided training and support to outstanding Youth Union members to strive to become Party members, paying particular attention to Youth Union members in rural areas, ethnic minority regions, and disadvantaged areas of the district.

Since 2015, youth union branches throughout the district have recommended 159 outstanding members to the Party, of which 102 have been honored to be admitted into the Party ranks. In the first six months of 2016 alone, 12 comrades were admitted to the Party.

The Young Doctors Volunteer Club provides free medical examinations for the public.

According to the resolution of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union Congress, during the 2012-2017 term, Anh Son district aims to recruit 6,500-7,000 young people into the Youth Union, and strives to recommend 1,000-1,200 outstanding members for Party membership. This serves as a foundation and goal for creating a pool of new Party members within the youth union.

It is noteworthy that most young people, after joining the Party, have demonstrated exemplary and pioneering spirit in various movements. At the same time, with enthusiasm and a willingness to think outside the box and take action, many young people have actively invested in exploiting the potential and strengths of their localities to overcome poverty and become wealthy in their homeland.
