(Baonghean.vn) - Party development work in Anh Son district in the past time has not met the targets according to the Resolution of the District Party Congress for the term 2020 - 2025. Therefore, the district is actively implementing many solutions with the determination to carry out the above work well.
Phuc Son Highlight
Phuc Son Commune Party Committee has 24 Party cells with 443 Party members and is one of the grassroots Party organizations with a large number of Party cells and Party members in Anh Son District. However, due to the characteristics of a border commune, an ethnic minority area, the work of developing Party members in Phuc Son Commune has encountered many difficulties. Faced with this reality, Phuc Son Commune Party Committee has had timely and effective solutions and has become one of the units that have successfully completed the Party member development plan of Anh Son District.
In fact, Phuc Son commune has difficulty recruiting new party members because most of the young people after graduating from high school try to take exams to study at universities and colleges, go abroad to work and work as workers in domestic companies... Therefore, the Party Committee of the commune has focused on implementing Project No. 02-DA/HU, dated April 8, 2021 on developing and improving the quality of party members in the period 2021 - 2025 and promoting the dissemination and raising awareness of the task of developing new party members in the locality. Currently, the Party Committee of the commune is synchronously implementing many solutions to effectively develop new party members, focusing on creating sources in mass organizations and in 2024 will recruit 13 party members.
Based on the orientation and plan for developing new party members in each period and based on the local reality, right from the beginning of the year, the Party Committee of Phuc Son commune has developed a plan for developing party members, assigning targets to each party cell and targets for commune-level mass organizations, linking the tasks of their organizations with discovering sources, caring for, training, and helping to create sources for party cells. During the implementation process, not only paying attention to discovering and nurturing new party members in the Youth Union, but the Party Committee of the commune also pays attention to creating sources in other mass organizations (outside the age group of Youth Union activities).
Along with that, the Commune Party Committee assigned a number of cadres and civil servants to work in some Party cells with difficulties in resources and a number of non-professional comrades at the commune level to participate in the positions of Secretary, Deputy Secretary, Village Chief, and Head of the Front Work Committee to facilitate the discovery, monitoring and nurturing of resources. Thanks to that, in 2023, the Phuc Son Commune Party Committee admitted 10 new Party members, achieving 100% of the plan assigned by the district.
Focus on resource creation
The work of developing new party members in Anh Son district has always been focused on by the Standing Committee of the District Party Committee, promptly directing and issuing projects and plans for developing party members, such as: Project No. 02-DA/HU, dated April 8, 2021 on developing and improving the quality of party members in the period 2021 - 2025.
Every year, the district issues plans for developing party members and implementing resolutions on developing party members in the blocs, villages, and hamlets, along with developing plans to implement the Project on developing party members and party organizations in private enterprises. At the same time, the district strengthens the direction of grassroots political and social organizations to organize many emulation movements to attract and encourage union members and association members to participate, thereby discovering and nurturing the elite masses of each organization to build core members and create a source of recruiting new party members. The district Political Center coordinates with the District Party Committees to develop annual training plans, promptly opening classes to foster awareness of the Party and nurture new party members.
One of the effective ways to develop new party members in Anh Son district is that at regular meetings between the District Party Secretary and the Secretaries of communes and towns, he focused on reminding and criticizing weak units and suggesting solutions to overcome them... In particular, at the review, evaluation and classification periods of Party organizations, individual Party committees and heads of Party cell committees, the district has included the results of developing new party members in one of the evaluation and classification criteria.
Comrade Nguyen Ba Tu - Member of the Standing Committee, Head of the Organizing Committee of Anh Son District Party Committee said: “With the active participation in the work of developing new Party members, from 2021 to now, the Standing Committee of the District Party Committee has opened 11 classes to foster awareness of the Party for 707 outstanding masses, admitted 373 Party members, of which 215 are female Party members, 20 are ethnic minorities, 2 are religious people, 37 are students, 8 are Party members in private enterprises, 11 are Party members over 50 years old, and 3 are Party members who are village heads. Currently, through synthesizing and reviewing sources from Party Committees and grassroots Party cells from now until the end of 2024, the expected source of admission is 109 people, expected to reach 90.8% compared to the target of the District Congress Resolution for the term 2020 - 2025”.
In order to create a strong change in the awareness and responsibility of Party committees, Party organizations, authorities, and socio-political organizations on the work of developing Party members and raising awareness among the masses about the importance of enlightening revolutionary ideals, spirit, and correct motivation when joining the Party, the Standing Committee of Anh Son District Party Committee issued Plan No. 188-KH/HU, requiring Party Committees of 21 communes and towns, high schools, and private enterprises in the area to organize specialized conferences on the work of developing Party members. Up to now, 21/21 communes and towns, 3/3 high schools, and 2/2 private enterprises have organized specialized conferences.
To effectively implement the Resolution of the District Party Congress for the 2020-2025 term on developing Party members, in the coming time, Anh Son district will continue to innovate propaganda work to raise awareness and responsibility of Party committees and Party members about the meaning and importance of Party membership recruitment. Continue to implement the Party Member Development Project for the 2020-2025 term; direct grassroots Party committees to develop plans and assign training and recruitment targets to each grassroots Party organization; strengthen inspection and supervision in Party member development work. Focus on doing a good job of reviewing candidates, ensuring conditions and standards for assigning Party members to monitor, train and recruit into the Party, along with having solutions to improve the quality of Party members.
At the same time, continue to implement Instruction No. 12-HD/BTCTW, dated July 6, 2018 of the Central Organizing Committee and Regulation No. 27-QD/TU, dated October 30, 2023 of the Provincial Party Committee on assessing and improving the quality of Party cell activities; maintain the regime of attending grassroots Party cell activities of Party Committee members of the District Party Committee in the localities and units in charge. Implement Project No. 5155-DA/TU, dated February 8, 2014 on developing Party members and Party organizations in private enterprises and foreign-invested enterprises, striving to establish 1-2 new Party cells in private enterprises and joint stock companies in 2024...
