On October 6, 2021, the Ky Son District Police in Nghe An province announced that they are currently holding two individuals residing in Xieng Tam village, My Ly commune, Ky Son district: Luong Van Le (born in 1991) for the crime of "illegally possessing narcotics" and Luong Van Sang (born in 1994) for the crime of "illegally possessing narcotics"."Illegal trafficking of narcotics."

Accordingly, at approximately 10:30 AM on October 4, 2021, in the Xieng Tam village area, My Ly commune, the My Ly commune police and the Bac Ly commune police jointly arrested Luong Van Le for the crime of "illegally possessing narcotics." The seized items included: 3.4 grams of synthetic drugs, two homemade guns, and one sharp knife. During questioning, Le confessed that he bought the drugs for personal use, and the weapons for hunting and self-defense.

Previously, on September 20, 2021, Le's younger brother, Luong Van Sang, was also arrested by the My Ly commune police for "illegally buying and selling narcotics," with seized evidence including 49 synthetic drug pills and 5.9 grams of heroin.
Currently, the case is under further investigation and will be handled according to regulations.
