Britain tightens flight regulations after Russian plane crash.

The British government has decided that flights from the UK to the Sharm el Shiekh region of Egypt will be suspended for safety reasons.

This was the assertion made by British Transport Minister Patrick McLoughlin on November 4th, just hours after the British Prime Minister's Office issued a statement expressing doubts about the possibility that the Russian plane that crashed in Egypt had been bombed.

“We are closely monitoring the investigation into the Russian plane crash in Egypt. We cannot confirm why the Russian plane crashed, but we believe it may have been rigged with an explosive device. Safety is our top priority right now. The British Prime Minister has called the Egyptian President to express his concerns. To ensure safety, we will suspend flights from the UK to the Sharm el Shiekh region of Egypt,” said the British Transport Minister.

Mr. McLoughlin also said that suspending these flights would allow British aviation experts to make the necessary security assessments at the airport.

According to the plan, the British Prime Minister will hold an emergency security meeting on aviation safety today (November 5).
