Quick-witted electrician breaks door to save driver suspected of having stroke
The car suddenly drifted freely and crashed into a motorbike on the side of the road. Suspecting that the driver had suffered a stroke, the electrician quickly broke the car door and coordinated to take the victim to the emergency room.
On July 9, on Nguyen Trai Street, Tan Ky Commune, Nghe An, an incident occurred where a car drifted freely and crashed into a motorbike parked in front of an electrical repair shop on the side of the road.
The driver inside the car was motionless, suspected of having a stroke. Seeing this, a group of people nearby quickly approached to find a way to open the car door and save the person.
Sharing with reporters, Mr. Le Van Giap (born in 1984, residing in Block 5, Tan Ky Commune), who directly participated in breaking the door, said: “I was repairing the refrigerator when I saw the car drifting towards me and hitting the motorbike in front of the store. I ran around to check but none of the doors could be opened. Then I used an iron bar to pry open the door, and with another person, I helped the driver out of the car.”

According to Mr. Giap, when they got inside, the man, about 40-45 years old, was foaming at the mouth, had a stiff mouth, was urinating uncontrollably, and had a stiff body. The group immediately took the victim to the Tan Ky commune health station for emergency treatment.
The driver was identified as a resident of Tan An commune. The incident occurred at around 8:38 a.m. the same day, and the clip recording the entire incident quickly went viral.social network, attracting hundreds of thousands of views, shares and comments.
Many people expressed their emotion at the brave, decisive and unhesitant actions of the group of people who helped the driver, especially the electrician.
One account commented: “Player number 20 deserved the match, recommended to be rewarded”. Another wrote: “The player number 20 handled the situation like a professional rescuer, no unnecessary movements, no panic. The driver was really lucky”.
Another account shared: “In a time when people are afraid of collision and trouble, the act of breaking down the door to save someone really makes me admire. That is bravery and heart.”
Many comments also said that the driver met a “guardian angel” in real life. “Met the right electrician with the right tools and a warm heart. If he had been a few minutes later, who knows what would have happened.”
The driver's health is currently being monitored. Local authorities have received information about the incident and are continuing to verify and clarify.
