Apple sets launch date for iPhone 18 Pro and foldable iPhone Ultra.
Apple has officially set the date for its most anticipated event in September, where it plans to unveil the iPhone 18 Pro, iPhone 18 Pro Max, and its first foldable iPhone.
Apple has just announced a new product launch event with the slogan "Surprise and Shine," scheduled to take place at 10:00 AM Pacific Time (PT) on September 9th, which is 0:00 AM on September 10th, 2026 (Vietnam time).

The invitation features an image of the illuminated Apple logo, with rays of light shining through, hinting at a series of new products to come.
What's new in the iPhone 18 Pro?
The highlight of the event is expected to be the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max. According to available information, Apple will not significantly change the design or screen size, but will focus on upgrading display technology, camera, and connectivity.
Three notable changes could include a main camera with a variable aperture, a smaller Dynamic Island, and Apple's own C2 modem. The new iPhone Pro lineup is also rumored to come in four color options: deep cherry red, black, silver, and light blue.
Notably, Apple is reportedly changing its iPhone launch strategy. The standard iPhone 18, iPhone 18e, and iPhone Air 2 models may not appear in the fall but instead be moved to the spring of 2027.
The foldable iPhone Ultra will be the center of attention.
The most notable product could be Apple's first foldable iPhone, currently rumored to be called the iPhone Ultra.
The device is expected to use a book-style folding design, with an outer screen of approximately 5.3-5.5 inches and an inner screen of 7.6-7.8 inches. The iPhone Ultra is rumored to feature a titanium frame, an ultra-thin body, and a screen with an almost imperceptible crease.

To reduce thickness, Apple may use Touch ID integrated into the power button instead of Face ID. The device is also rumored to have two front cameras and a dual rear camera system.
If this information is accurate, this could become the most expensive iPhone ever. The starting price is predicted to be around $1,999, while higher-capacity versions could exceed $2,500.
Apple Watch and AirPods may also appear.
Besides the iPhone, Apple is expected to introduce the Apple Watch Series 12 and Apple Watch Ultra 4. These two models may not have major design changes, but will feature upgraded processors and added health-related features.
AirPods 5 are also likely to appear at the event, while the AirPods Pro version with Visual Intelligence technology is reportedly not yet ready and may launch next year.
The event will be live-streamed by Apple on its website, YouTube, and the Apple TV app. This is predicted to be one of Apple's most notable events in years, especially if the company officially enters the foldable phone market with the iPhone Ultra.
