Apple is getting a new CEO: Who has been chosen to replace Tim Cook?
Apple appears to have found a successor to Tim Cook as CEO – a figure expected to lead the tech giant into a new era after more than a decade of steady growth and innovation.
CEO Tim Cook, who has been with Apple for over a decade and transformed the company into an icon of consumer technology sophistication, is reportedly preparing to leave his position. In a Power On report, Bloomberg analyst Mark Gurman revealed that Cook's "clear successor" has almost been identified.
The person chosen to continue Tim Cook's legacy.
According to Gurman, Apple's Senior Vice President of Hardware Engineering, John Ternus, is the leading candidate for the CEO position. He was the one who took the stage to introduce the company's latest flagship model this year, the iPhone Air.

According to Gurman, this decision received strong support from Apple's marketing team, who believed that Ternus could both maintain the brand image and bring a fresh perspective to Apple.
An ideal successor
John Ternus is no stranger to the public. He is known for being friendly, humble, and always maintaining a calm demeanor, qualities that led many within Apple to believe he was "the chosen one."
Furthermore, Ternus's solid technical background allows him to deeply understand the products, rather than just being a spokesperson. He doesn't just demonstrate Apple devices on stage; he genuinely understands how they work and embodies a true passion for technology.
According to Gurman, Ternus is currently around the same age as Cook when he took over as CEO. In recent years, Ternus has appeared more and more in public, from interviews and product launches to visits to Apple Stores on release day. This presence suggests he is being positioned as the official successor to Apple.
No one is more suitable than John Ternus.
Although many believe that Vice President of Software Craig Federighi is also a strong candidate, Gurman and analysts believe that Ternus's age and technical experience make him a more logical choice.
Tim Cook will always be an integral part of Apple's history – the man who upheld Steve Jobs' legacy and transformed Apple into a trillion-dollar company. However, a new era is approaching, and John Ternus seems to be the man with the courage to usher in the next chapter of Apple's development.
