ASUS Zenbook DUO 2026 Launched in Vietnam: Perfecting the Dual-Screen Laptop Experience

ASUS has officially introduced the Zenbook DUO (2026) dual-screen laptop to the Vietnamese market. This is not only an upgrade in performance but also demonstrates improvements in design, durability, and the ability to apply artificial intelligence (AI) to everyday tasks.

In the context of increasing demands for flexible work, users need a spacious display area while maintaining portability. The Zenbook DUO (2026) is the result of improvements from the first generation in 2019, transitioning from a small secondary screen above the keyboard to a system of two equally sized OLED screens in a compact body.

The dual-screen design is more seamless and flexible.

One of the most significant improvements on the Zenbook DUO (2026) is the reduced gap between the two screens. Thanks to the new hidden hinge system, the gap between the two display sections has been reduced from 26 mm to 7.66 mm (a 70% reduction). At the same time, the screen bezels have also been refined to be thinner, from 6.15 mm to 3.88 mm, providing a more expansive and modern visual experience.

Despite having two screens, the overall size of the device is still about 5% smaller than the previous generation. This design helped the product win the Gold iF Design Award 2026, notable for its flexibility and ability to open flat 180 degrees, optimized for various working positions.

Exceptional durability thanks to ceramic material.

Durability is always a key concern for devices with unique structures. ASUS has used Ceraluminum alloy for the entire body of the Zenbook DUO (2026). This material is three times harder than traditional aluminum but 30% lighter, effectively increasing scratch and impact resistance.

The machine has undergone rigorous testing: the hinges and base withstand over 40,000 opening and closing cycles, the detachable keyboard achieves 1 million connection cycles, and the lid can withstand pressure up to 50 kg. These specifications ensure the device operates stably under conditions of constant movement.

Powerful performance with Intel Core Ultra Series 3 architecture.

The Zenbook DUO (2026) is equipped with a maximum configuration of up to an Intel Core Ultra X9 388H (Series 3) chip along with integrated Intel Arc Graphics B390. Compared to its predecessor, multitasking performance is increased by 26%, while graphics power is increased by up to 112%. Notably, AI processing capabilities reach 180 TOPS (an increase of 203%), optimizing Copilot+ PC tasks on Windows.

To maintain performance, the cooling system has been upgraded with a 97-blade fan and a three-fold larger air intake area, allowing the machine to maintain a stable 45W power output when handling demanding tasks.

Battery life and professional display capabilities

Featuring two 14-inch ASUS Lumina Pro OLED displays with 3K resolution, a 144Hz refresh rate, and a maximum brightness of 1000 nits, the device delivers accurate display quality. To power this system, ASUS has equipped it with a dual 99Wh battery.

The actual battery life can reach 12 hours when using both screens for web browsing and up to 32 hours when playing videos in single-screen mode. The device supports 100W fast charging via USB-C, allowing it to charge 60% of the battery in just 49 minutes.

Enhancing the user experience

The detachable keyboard of the Zenbook DUO (2026) uses an improved MagLatch mechanism and pogo pins, ensuring a more stable connection and more precise detachment. The large ErgoSense touchpad and ASUS Pen 3.0 with 4096 levels of pressure sensitivity provide maximum support for note-taking and creative sketching.

ScreenXpert software allows users to flexibly arrange application windows between two screens. When the device is opened above 175 degrees, it automatically switches to sharing mode, which is very useful for presentations and group discussions.
