After eight years of pursuing his dream, Dam Vinh Hung announced that he has finally fulfilled his wish to obtain permission from the Department of Performing Arts for two famous bolero songs, 'Tinh Bo Vo' (by Lam Phuong) and 'Thuong Han' (written by singer Che Linh and Ho Dinh Phuong under the stage name Tu Nhi), according to Official Document No. 362/GP-NTBD.

Reportedly, some sensitive words in "Thuong Han" (Love and Hate) were revised by the author himself for Dam Vinh Hung to sing. In addition, the song "Chieu Mua Bien Gioi" (Rainy Afternoon at the Border) (Nguyen Van Dong) has also been licensed for Dam Vinh Hung for his live show themed "Saigon Bolero & Hung," taking place on August 5th at Hoa Binh Theater (Ho Chi Minh City) and August 26th (at the National Convention Center, Hanoi).
