On the afternoon of July 18, Tan Ky District People's Court tried the criminal case against Phan Thi Anh, Nguyen Hong Phi, Hoang Dinh Quyet, Truong Van Son, and Hoang Trong Xuan for the crime of"Gamble".

At around 10:30 p.m. the same day, Phi and Quyet went to Phan Thi Anh's house to gamble. Seeing that there was gambling, they sat down to join in. At this time, all four agreed to increase the bet per game from 20,000 VND to 50,000 VND and then continued gambling.
During the gambling process, because he lost all his money, Son borrowed 500,000 VND from Phan Thi Anh to continue gambling.
At 1:15 a.m. on April 5, 2019, while the subjects were gambling, they were caught red-handed by the Tan Ky District Police working group, and the gambling table was confiscated with the amount of 450,000 VND.
Through investigation, it was proven that the total amount of money the subjects used for gambling purposes was 7.3 million VND.
Phan Thi Anh (the homeowner), although not directly participating in gambling and not collecting the pool fee, agreed to let the above subjects gamble at the location under her management, and at the same time lent Truong Van Son money to gamble, so Anh was an accomplice in the crime of gambling.
At the end of the trial, the panel sentenced Ms. Anh to 6 months of non-custodial reform, Son and Xuan each to 6 months of suspended imprisonment, and Quyet and Phi to a total of 33 months of non-custodial reform.
