Three shops near Quan Lau market burned down
(Baonghean.vn) - The fire lasted for more than half an hour and burned down 3 shops and a car in the area near Quan Lau market (Vinh city, Nghe An).
On the afternoon of May 15, small traders on Nguyen Trung Ngan Street (near Quan Lau Market, Vinh City) were shocked to see smoke billowing from a store. At that time, the store was closed, some people immediately shouted to each other to get water and use mini fire extinguishers to put out the fire but were unsuccessful.

Minutes later, the fire spread to the breakfast stall and nail salon next door. According to some witnesses, flames and black smoke rose dozens of meters high. The sunny weather and strong winds caused the fire to spread quickly.

Nghe An Fire Police dispatched 3 fire trucks and 60 soldiers to the scene. The authorities then broke down the door and helped residents bring out some of the goods in the stalls. By around 5 p.m., the fire was completely contained.

The fire did not cause any human casualties, but burned the front of a car parked nearby and burned many items inside the stalls.
The cause of the fire is being clarified by the authorities.
