Poland asks President Zelensky to stop insulting Warsaw
(Baonghean.vn) - Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki warned Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky about insults and accusations against Warsaw.

In a meeting with voters, Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki declared that President Zelensky should “never insult Poles” as the Ukrainian leader did in his speech at the United Nations General Assembly.
“The Poles will never allow this,” Prime Minister Morawiecki stressed.
According to Mr. Morawiecki, in the current geopolitical context, Poland will protect its interests and knows “how to shape these interests.” At the same time, the Polish Prime Minister said that Warsaw is actively helping Kiev by transporting weapons.
“We are currently mainly arming ourselves, but the center in Rzeszow – a special logistics center – is operating, has been and will operate in cooperation with Poland's allies,” Prime Minister Morawiecki said.
Prime Minister Morawiecki said on September 20 that he would stop providing weapons to Ukraine to focus on building up its defense, amid escalating tensions between the two countries over agricultural exports. Polish President Andrzej Duda later clarified that Poland would not transfer to Ukraine the latest weapons it had purchased to modernize its military. However, the agreed batches of weapons and ammunition would still be delivered to Ukraine.
Relations between Poland and Ukraine have recently become more tense than ever, reaching an all-time low, due to Warsaw's embargo on grain supplies from Kiev.
Earlier this week, speaking at the United Nations General Assembly, Ukrainian President Zelensky accused Poland of helping Russia by refusing to buy Ukrainian grain.
Observers say that with harsh statements aimed at Poland, Ukraine is likely to face a counterattack from its closest ally.
