Poland deploys fighter jets amid warnings of airstrikes in Ukraine.

"On the morning of February 7th, an air raid alert was issued across all of Ukraine. This is being repeated cyclically and more frequently. These are large-scale attacks. Most of the missiles are flying westward, towards Poland. Although they are aimed at targets on Ukrainian territory, this morning all security systems in Poland were also prepared," said Polish Defense Minister Wladyslaw Kosiniak-Kamysh.

Minister Kosinyak-Kamysh explained Poland's activation mechanism as follows: F-16 fighter jets appeared in the sky, and the missile defense and air defense systems were put on alert.

The Polish Armed Forces' operational command at Platform X announced that "intense activity of Russian long-range weapons has been observed, in connection with missile attacks on Ukrainian territory."

On the morning of February 7th, an air raid alert was issued across Ukraine. Local authorities and media reported explosions and fires in the Kyiv, Kharkiv, Nikolaev, Ivano-Frankivsk, Lviv, Dnipropetrovsk, and Cherkassy regions.

Ukrainian officials say Russia launched multiple missile attacks within hours targeting Kyiv and other cities. An air defense alert was activated across Ukraine after the military detected at least nine Russian Tu-95MS strategic bombers taking off.
