Poland urges citizens to leave Belarus urgently.
The Polish Foreign Ministry is urging its citizens to leave Belarus as soon as possible.

According to RIA Novosti on September 7, Polish radio station RMF24 reported, citing sources, that the Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs is urging its citizens not to travel to Belarus or to leave Belarus by any means available.
"The Ministry of State Affairs strongly advises against traveling to Belarus. Polish citizens may face events there that will not be beneficial to them," RMF24 stated.
Accordingly, in the event of a rapidly deteriorating security situation, border closures, or other unforeseen circumstances, the evacuation of citizens may become much more difficult or even impossible.
Earlier on September 5, Prime Minister Donald Tusk told journalists that Poland would prepare an "action plan for the coming weeks" for Belarus.
Belarusian television reported that the country's state security committee in Lepel, Vitebsk region, arrested a Polish citizen on espionage charges, seizing confidential documents about military exercises scheduled for 2025.
Later, the press secretary of the Minister - Coordinator of the Polish Special Services Jacek Dobrzyński issued a statement that the detained Polish citizen was accused of having no involvement in espionage activities, but was a priest.
The Polish side considers the incident a provocative act aimed at destabilizing the country and affirms its support for its detained citizens.
