Poland urges citizens to leave Belarus urgently
The Polish Foreign Ministry calls on its citizens to leave Belarus as soon as possible.

According to RIA Novosti on September 7, Polish Radio RMF24 reported with reference that the Polish Foreign Ministry called on its citizens not to travel to Belarus or leave Belarus by any available means.
“The Ministry of State Affairs strongly recommends against traveling to Belarus. Polish citizens may face events there that will not be beneficial to them,” RMF24 said.
Accordingly, in the event of a rapid deterioration of the security situation, border closures or other unforeseen circumstances, the evacuation of citizens may be much more difficult or even impossible.
Earlier on September 5, Prime Minister Donald Tusk told journalists that Poland would prepare an "action plan for the coming weeks" for Belarus.
Belarusian television reported that the country's state security committee in Lepel, Vitebsk region, detained a Polish citizen on charges of espionage, and secret documents on the 2025 exercises were confiscated from him.
Later, the press secretary of the Minister - Coordinator of Polish Special Services Jacek Dobrzyński made a statement that the detained Polish citizen allegedly had nothing to do with espionage activities, but was a monk.
Poland considers the incident a provocation aimed at destabilizing the situation and has vowed to support the detained citizen.
