Ms. Le Thi Thuy has resigned from her position as Secretary of the Ha Nam Provincial Party Committee.

On February 19th, the Standing Committee of the Ha Nam Provincial Party Committee held a conference to hand over the duties of the Provincial Party Secretary for the 2020-2025 term.

At the conference, Ms. Le Thi Thuy - Deputy Secretary in charge of the Party Committee of the Government, former Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, former Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Council of Ha Nam province, and Ms. Dinh Thi Lua - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, signed the minutes of the handover of the tasks of managing the work of the Provincial Party Committee until the position of Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term is filled.

Previously, on February 14th, the Central Party Office issued Document No. 13402-CV/VPTW announcing the Politburo's opinion regarding Ms. Le Thi Thuy's resignation from the Executive Committee and Standing Committee of the Ha Nam Provincial Party Committee, her relinquishment of the position of Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term, and her resignation from the position of Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Council for the 2021-2026 term.

Speaking at the conference, Ms. Le Thi Thuy expressed her emotion and sincere gratitude to the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, the Executive Committee of the Provincial Party Committee of Ha Nam province, and all agencies, units, and localities in the province for their continuous support and assistance in helping her fulfill her duties over the past period.

She expressed her hope that Party committees and authorities at all levels in Ha Nam province would continue to promote the spirit of solidarity, cohesion, and unity in leadership and guidance to successfully implement the targets set forth in the Resolution of the 20th Provincial Party Congress and the strategic directions for the province's rapid and sustainable development.
