The Party Central Committee takes disciplinary action against officials.

On May 26th, at the Party Central Committee headquarters, General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong chaired a meeting of the Secretariat to consider and impose disciplinary measures on Comrade Le Minh Trung, member of the Standing Committee of the Da Nang City Party Committee and Permanent Vice Chairman of the Da Nang City People's Council, and Comrade Dinh Quy Nhan, former member of the Quang Binh Provincial Party Committee and former Director of the Quang Binh Provincial Department of Education and Training.

After considering the proposal of the Central Disciplinary Committee, the Secretariat of the Central Committee found that:

1. Comrade Le Minh Trung, in his capacity as a member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, Deputy Secretary of the Party Group, and Permanent Vice Chairman of the People's Council of Da Nang City, has failed to cultivate and maintain moral character and lifestyle; violated the Regulations on what Party members are not allowed to do, the Regulations on the responsibility of setting an example, and violated the Law on Marriage and Family.

Comrade Le Minh Trung's violations have caused negative public opinion, affecting the prestige of the Party organization, state agencies, and Party members.

2. Comrade Dinh Quy Nhan, during his tenure as a Provincial Party Committee member and Director of the Department of Education and Training of Quang Binh province, violated the principle of democratic centralism and the Working Regulations; violated the Regulations on what Party members are not allowed to do, the Regulations on the responsibility of setting an example, and the Regulations on controlling power in personnel work; abused his position and authority, and intentionally acted contrary to the regulations of the Party and the laws of the State in the recruitment of civil servants.

Comrade Dinh Quy Nhan's violations have serious consequences, negatively impacting the reputation of the Party organization, the Education sector of Quang Binh province, and Party members.

Based on the content, nature, extent of consequences, and causes of the violations, and in accordance with the Party's regulations on disciplinary action against violating Party members, the Secretariat of the Central Committee decided to impose disciplinary measures in the following forms: Dismissal from all Party positions for Comrade Le Minh Trung; and expulsion from the Party for Comrade Dinh Quy Nhan.

We request that the relevant authorities impose administrative disciplinary measures in accordance with regulations on the individuals who have been disciplined by the Party.
