The Steering Committee 35 of the Nghe An Provincial Party Committee organized a training course on skills and expertise for the team working to protect the Party's ideological foundation.
On the morning of May 25th, the Steering Committee 35 of the Nghe An Provincial Party Committee organized a training course on skills and expertise for personnel working to protect the Party's ideological foundation and combat erroneous and hostile viewpoints throughout the province.
Comrade Hoang Nghia Hieu - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, and Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Steering Committee 35 - attended and delivered a speech providing guidance.
The training course was directly delivered by Comrade Bui Van Tien - Deputy Director, Deputy Chief of the Office of the Central Steering Committee 35, and Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Manh Ha - Deputy Political Commissar of Center 186, Command 86.
Also attending were comrades: Ngoc Kim Nam - Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department, Deputy Head of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee's Steering Committee 35; Tran Minh Ngoc - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Director of Nghe An Newspaper and Radio and Television, Chairman of the Provincial Journalists Association.
Over the course of one day, trainees were equipped with knowledge and skills in information exploitation in the digital environment, application of artificial intelligence, and coordination in processing information to protect the Party's ideological foundation and combat false and hostile viewpoints in the new situation.
The training course aims to further enhance awareness and improve professional skills for personnel working on the 35th anniversary of the Communist Party of Vietnam at all levels; and to update them on new requirements and tasks in the context of the rapidly developing cyberspace and the increasingly sophisticated and complex methods of sabotage employed by hostile forces.
This contributes to improving the effectiveness of the Steering Committee 35 at all levels, promoting the role of the entire political system and all segments of the population in disseminating positive information and combating harmful and toxic information on the internet.
In his opening remarks, Comrade Hoang Nghia Hieu emphasized that firmly protecting the Party's ideological foundation and combating erroneous and hostile viewpoints is a crucial task for the Party and the political system; it is a regular and long-term undertaking of the entire Party, the entire people, and the entire army to thwart all conspiracies and subversive activities of hostile forces; contributing to building a clean and strong Party, maintaining political stability for socio-economic development.
The Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee requested that the delegates focus on fully absorbing the content of the topics; and at the same time, boldly discuss with the lecturers any difficulties and obstacles encountered in their practical work at the local level and in their units, especially since the operation of the two-tiered local government system.
Based on that, we will effectively apply it in practice to further improve the quality of protecting the Party's ideological foundation and combating erroneous and hostile viewpoints in the future.
Following the training course, Comrade Hoang Nghia Hieu requested that delegates advise Party committees and authorities to continue to thoroughly understand the viewpoint that protecting the Party's ideological foundation is an important and regular task for every Party organization, cadre, and Party member, in accordance with the directives of the Party Central Committee; and at the same time, make this content one of the criteria for evaluating and ranking Party organizations and cadres and Party members annually.
The comrade also requested that the 35 forces at all levels and in all sectors regularly monitor and grasp public opinion on the internet and in practice to promptly disseminate and guide information; proactively combat and refute false and hostile viewpoints, preventing malicious elements from exploiting them to undermine, especially key projects of the province in the coming period.
In addition, proactively develop communication scenarios, prepare sufficient documents, scientific arguments, and official information to support the fight against and refutation of distorted narratives that sow doubt among the people; and promptly report and advise the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee's Steering Committee 35 for guidance and handling.
In addition, Party committees and authorities at all levels and sectors need to strengthen internal political security; proactively prevent, stop, and repel manifestations of "self-evolution" and "self-transformation"; and regularly inspect, supervise, and guide the Steering Committee 35 in localities and units to operate effectively.
In particular, the Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee requested that attention be paid to building a synchronized and unified force for implementing Directive 35 from the provincial level to the grassroots, closely linking it with the team of social opinion collaborators and reporters at all levels to enhance the effectiveness of protecting the Party's ideological foundation in the new situation.
