The Northwest Steering Committee visits Song Lam Sugar Company.

(Baonghean.vn) - As part of their working visit to Nghe An, on January 13th, the delegation from the Northwest Steering Committee, led by Deputy Head Nguyen Canh Viet, visited and worked at Song Lam Sugar Company.

Accompanying the Northwest Steering Committee were Comrade Dinh Thi Le Thanh - Member in charge of the Northwest Steering Committee and other members. Representing Nghe An province were Comrade Luong Thanh Hai - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial Ethnic Affairs Committee, along with representatives from the Provincial Border Guard Command; the Provincial Party Committee Office; and the Provincial Fatherland Front.

Receiving and working with the delegation was Mr. Dang Manh Hung - Member of the Executive Committee of the Anh Son District Party Committee, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Song Lam Sugar Company Limited.

The working group of the Northwest Steering Committee held a meeting with the leadership of Song Lam Sugar Corporation.

Mr. Dang Manh Hung, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Song Lam Sugar Company, reported on the company's performance in 2015 and its plans and tasks for 2016.

During the meeting, Comrade Nguyen Canh Viet highly appreciated the achievements the company has made. He emphasized that with the dynamism, boldness, and especially the innovative thinking of the leadership, from equipment and production lines to investment in new, high-yield varieties, the company will certainly continue to succeed.

The delegation presented gifts to the company.

Comrade Nguyen Canh Viet also affirmed that the Mekong Delta is a vast region with abundant labor resources and great potential for agricultural production. The company needs to develop more new raw material areas with new, high-yield crop varieties. The development of the factory is a contribution to the Party, the State, and the locality in developing the economy and improving the material and spiritual lives of the people in the Mekong Delta of Nghe An.
