Are you ready to hunt for cheap flight tickets?

A round-trip ticket from Hanoi to Tokyo currently costs $540 excluding taxes and fees, while a one-way ticket from Ho Chi Minh City to Manila costs a total of $59.

Vietnam Airlines has just introduced a special program called "Tokyo in Autumn Foliage" for flights from Hanoi or Ho Chi Minh City to Tokyo (Japan), offering discounts of up to 20% off the lowest fare.

Round-trip economy class tickets from Hanoi to Tokyo start from 540 USD, while business class tickets start from 999 USD. These tickets are valid for travel between now and January 31, 2017.

If flying from Ho Chi Minh City, round-trip economy class tickets to Tokyo start from just $399, while business class tickets start at $980. Tickets are on sale from now until December 24th. The offer is valid for travel from now until December 31st.

With Air Asia, between October 3rd and 16th, round-trip tickets from Ho Chi Minh City to Kuala Lumpur cost $53 USD, while flights departing from Hanoi cost $100 USD. If the destination is Bangkok, round-trip tickets from Ho Chi Minh City cost $86 USD, and from Hanoi cost $100 USD.

Additionally, the airline is offering promotional round-trip airfares from Ho Chi Minh City to Johor Bahru and Penang for $72 and $100 respectively. All prices include taxes and fees. The travel period is from October 4, 2016 to April 27, 2017.

Last weekend, Cebu Pacific also launched cheap airfares of $59 USD one-way including taxes and fees for the Ho Chi Minh City to Manila route, and $49 USD for the return trip. The booking deadline is October 3rd. The travel period applies to two periods: from now until March 31st, 2017 and from June 1st to August 31st, 2017.

For domestic routes, Vietjet Air last week launched ticket sales for the 2017 Lunar New Year (Year of the Rooster) with a range of attractive prices, applicable for flights between January 10th and February 12th, 2017. Prices starting from 390,000 VND apply to flights from Ho Chi Minh City to Nha Trang or to one of the following destinations: Phu Quoc, Da Lat, Buon Ma Thuot, Pleiku, and Tuy Hoa.

From Hanoi, the lowest fare is 480,000 VND for flights to Hue or Da Nang/Chu Lai. Flights from Hanoi to Ho Chi Minh City start from 900,000 VND.
