The Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Department presents Tet gifts in Do Luong.
(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of January 24th, a delegation from the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Department, led by Comrade Ngoc Kim Nam - Member of the Standing Committee and Head of the Department, visited and presented Tet gifts to underprivileged students in Do Luong district.
The delegation visited and presented Tet gifts to 116 underprivileged students at Xuan Son Secondary and Primary School, and Hien Son Primary School, with a total amount of nearly 35 million VND. The funds for the gifts came from donations from officials and employees of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Department, along with the support of benefactors.
On the same day, the delegation organized a warm New Year's Eve dinner at the Nghe An Provincial Social Welfare Center in Giang Son commune, Do Luong district. This heartwarming meal, filled with the festive atmosphere of Tet (Vietnamese New Year), was a gesture of kindness from the officials of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Department to those in vulnerable positions in society. On this occasion, the delegation also presented Tet gifts, including warm clothing and sweets, to the social welfare beneficiaries, with a total value exceeding 12 million VND.
