The Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Department presents gifts to students in Ky Son district.
(Baonghean.vn) - On January 12th, Ms. Nguyen Thi Thom, Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Department, along with a delegation, visited and presented gifts at Na Ngoi Ethnic Boarding School - Secondary School in Ky Son district.
Na Ngoi Ethnic Boarding Secondary School has 16 classes with 473 students, mainly from the Mong, Thai, and Khmu ethnic groups, of which 361 are boarding students, living and studying at the school. Recognizing that the school's boarding facilities were old and some were severely damaged, officials from the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Department contributed 15 beds and 100 blankets worth 65 million VND.
On behalf of the delegation, Ms. Nguyen Thi Thom shared her understanding of the difficulties faced by the students and teachers of the school. She hoped that the teachers and students would overcome these difficulties to teach and learn well, and encouraged the students to actively attend school to improve their knowledge and skills in life.
On this occasion, representatives from the Provincial Department of Education and Training and the Vietnam Commercial and Industrial Bank (Vietinbank) Vinh branch presented the school with a gift worth 15 million VND.
