Readers of Nghe An newspaper donate gifts to family whose house was destroyed by fire.

(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of September 10th, a group of volunteers on Facebook in Que Phong district went to deliver donated gifts to Ms. Vi Thi Hoa in Pa Lau village, Nam Nhong commune.

Previously, on July 31, 2016, information emerged that Ms. Vi Thi Hoa (45 years old), residing in Pa Lau village, Nam Nhoong commune, went to her field but failed to extinguish a cooking fire. The flames spread to the wall of her house and caused a fire. By around 11 a.m., the entire house and all her belongings were destroyed by fire, leaving Ms. Hoa and her three children homeless.

The volunteer group presented gifts to Ms. Hoa and her son.

As soon as the information was broadcast on Que Phong Radio and published on the Nghe An online newspaper, and shared on social media, many individuals in the Facebook group of friends of Quynh Meo and Thanh Sam donated nearly 1.2 million VND to support Ms. Hoa. Although the amount donated was large, it demonstrated the concern of the community for Ms. Hoa, helping her to stabilize her life as soon as possible.
