(Baonghean.vn) - Following the article "Heartbreaking plight of a single mother suffering from a serious illness" published by Baonghean.vn on July 28th, on the afternoon of August 1st, a volunteer group in Cau Giat Town (Quynh Luu District) visited and donated over 2 million VND and many other items such as rice, clothes, sugar, and milk to the family of Ms. Ho Thi Toan, in Hamlet 4, Quynh Hong Commune, Quynh Luu District.

Ms. Ho Thi Toan, residing in Hamlet 4, Quynh Hong Commune, Quynh Luu District, has been suffering from end-stage Parkinson's disease for over two years. She has lost her mobility, and her family's income is now uncertain. Due to the family's extremely difficult circumstances, her son, Ho Duc Tam (15 years old), had to drop out of school two years ago to stay home and care for his mother. Every day, in addition to bathing, feeding, and cleaning his mother, he must constantly be by her side, massaging her hands and feet to alleviate her pain.
To help Ms. Toan prolong her life and allow her granddaughter Tam to continue her education, we earnestly hope to receive the support of generous donors.
