Model of houses for disaster prevention and climate change adaptation.

Most opinions suggest that houses suitable for storm-prone areas should have characteristics such as: being able to be assembled, dismantled, and moved as needed; using lightweight, environmentally friendly building materials; and being resistant to salt, temperature, and corrosion. Specifically, the roofing of storm-resistant houses should not only use lightweight materials but also have no sharp edges to prevent accidents if the roof is blown off, and should be affordable…

Overview of the conference

Lightweight prefabricated housing systems are considered the optimal solution, suitable for the harsh climate of Central Vietnam, which frequently experiences storms and tornadoes.

After incorporating feedback from the workshop, the architects continued to collaborate with designers and businesses to improve technology and equipment, increase the production capacity of mechanical workshops and materials, etc. The goal is to bring lightweight prefabricated housing models, designed for disaster prevention and climate change adaptation, into practical application.
