Handover of the position of Commander of the Military Command of Nghe An and Thanh Hoa provinces.
On the afternoon of April 28, the Thanh Hoa Provincial Military Command held a handover ceremony for the position of Commander of the Provincial Military Command between Major General Vu Van Tung and Colonel Dinh Bat Van.
The conference was chaired by Central Committee members: Senior General Le Duc Thai - Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Thanh Hoa Provincial Delegation to the National Assembly; and Major General Doan Xuan Buong - Member of the Central Military Commission, Secretary of the Party Committee, Political Commissar of Military Region 4.
The conference was attended by leaders from Thanh Hoa province and the 4th Military Region Command. Representing Nghe An province were: Hoang Nghia Hieu - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; and Phung Thanh Vinh - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.
According to decisions of the Minister of National Defence, the Ministry of National Defence has transferred and appointed Major General Vu Van Tung, Commander of the Thanh Hoa Provincial Military Command, to the position of Commander of the Nghe An Provincial Military Command; and transferred and appointed Colonel Dinh Bat Van, Commander of the Nghe An Provincial Military Command, to the position of Commander of the Thanh Hoa Provincial Military Command.
After hearing the minutes of the handover of responsibilities and duties of the Commander of the Thanh Hoa Provincial Military Command, Major General Vu Van Tung and Colonel Dinh Bat Van, speaking at the conference, expressed their deep gratitude to the Party Committee, the Military Region Command, and the local Party and government leaders for their continuous attention and support throughout their tenure; they also affirmed that in their new positions they will continue to strive and be determined to successfully complete all assigned tasks.
Speaking at the assignment ceremony, Major General Doan Xuan Buong, Political Commissar of Military Region 4, expressed his confidence: With his courage, capabilities, and work experience, Colonel Dinh Bat Van, together with the Party Committee and the Military Command of Thanh Hoa province, will continue to uphold the tradition of unity, successfully complete all assigned tasks, contribute to building a stronger armed force in Thanh Hoa province, meet the requirements of the new situation, and make an important contribution to the development of Thanh Hoa province.
At the conference, in the presence of the Secretary of the Thanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee and the Political Commissar of Military Region 4, Major General Vu Van Tung and Colonel Dinh Bat Van signed the handover minutes for the position of Commander of the Thanh Hoa Provincial Military Command.
