Houses handed over to two poor families in Lam Thanh commune.

On the afternoon of February 5th, Nghe An Newspaper and Radio & Television, in coordination with the Vietnam Investment and Development Bank (BIDV) Nghe An Branch and local authorities, organized a ceremony to hand over two houses to poor households, near-poor households, and people with particularly difficult housing circumstances in Lam Thanh commune.

Attending the ceremony were comrades Tran Van Hung and Tran Huu Nghia - Deputy Directors of Nghe An Newspaper, Radio and Television, along with leaders of Lam Thanh commune and Father Truong Van Khan, parish priest of My Du parish.

Representing the Vietnam Investment and Development Bank (BIDV) Nghe An Branch was Mr. Hoang Khanh Minh - Vice Chairman of the Trade Union.

On this occasion, the delegation presented a donation of 100 million VND from the Vietnam Investment and Development Bank (BIDV) Nghe An Branch to two impoverished households: Mr. Tran Quoc Viet in Chau Nhan 6 hamlet and Ms. Le Thi Huong in Hung Phuc 3 hamlet, Lam Thanh commune, with each household receiving 50 million VND. This act demonstrates the spirit of mutual support and compassion of BIDV Nghe An, aiming to encourage disadvantaged families to continue striving to overcome difficulties and improve their lives by escaping poverty.

Reportedly, during the Lunar New Year of the Year of the Horse, the Vietnam Investment and Development Bank (BIDV) Nghe An Branch allocated 3 billion VND to give gifts and support the construction of houses for poor households in the province.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Hoang Khanh Minh - Vice Chairman of the Trade Union of the Vietnam Investment and Development Bank (BIDV) Nghe An Branch shared: “The handover of two houses in Lam Thanh commune today is part of BIDV Nghe An's long-term commitment to social welfare in the province. We understand that a solid roof over our heads is the most important foundation for people to feel secure and prosperous. Through this financial support, BIDV hopes to share the burden and provide assistance to poor and near-poor households with particularly difficult housing circumstances; at the same time, demonstrating the spirit of mutual support and the tradition of helping those in need of the entire staff of BIDV bank.”
