(Baonghean.vn) - Over the past 20 years of construction and development, the Nghe An Relics Management Board has effectively advised the Nghe An Department of Culture and Sports on implementing activities to preserve, restore, and promote the value of cultural heritage in the province.

Attending the ceremony were: Ms. Trinh Thi Thuy - Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism; and Mr. Dang Van Bai - Vice Chairman of the National Heritage Council.

Also attending were representatives from the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum Command; the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Culture and Sports; the Binh Dinh Provincial Business Association; and various departments, agencies, associations, organizations, and localities within the province.

The Nghe An Relics Management Board was established in April 2002, initially under the name Management Board.Relicsand the scenic spots of Nghe An. Over 20 years of construction and development, the Nghe An Relics Management Board has effectively advised the Nghe An Department of Culture and Sports on implementing activities to preserve, restore, and promote the value of these sites.heritageculture in the province.

Specifically, the Nghe An Relics Management Board has successfully carried out the task of investigating, researching, inventorying, and classifying all relics, scenic spots, and intangible cultural heritage in the province to advise the Provincial People's Committee on issuing decisions approving the inventory list of relics, scenic spots, and intangible cultural heritage; decentralizing management; and issuing a number of mechanisms and policies on the preservation and promotion of the value of intangible cultural heritage.

Each year, the Nghe An Relics Management Board conducts surveys and prepares dossiers for the ranking of 10-15 relics. To date, 471 relics in the province have been ranked out of a total of 2,602 relics that have been inventoried. The Board is gradually surveying, collecting, and researching relevant documents to serve as a basis for coordinating and guiding localities in restoring festivals, ensuring both traditional values ​​and adaptation to current circumstances and conditions.

Over the past period,Nghe An Relics Management BoardThe Board has advised, supervised, guided, inspected, and urged the restoration, preservation, and reconstruction of hundreds of historical sites in the province. Specifically, from 2010 to the present, the Board has carried out urgent repairs to 182 historical sites, ensuring compliance with the Law on Cultural Heritage.

Since 2015, the Board has implemented digital technology in the management and archiving of records and documents, achieving many positive results with a large number of Han-Nom documents, inventory documents, and relic ranking records being digitized; initially building a map of relics in Nghe An province, determining GPS coordinates, updating routes and general information about relics for 21 key relics.

On this occasion, the People's Committee of Nghe An province presented the Nghe An Relics Management Board with a banner bearing the inscription "Nghe An Relics Management Board: 20 years of construction and development 2002-2022"; and awarded the Emulation Flag of the People's Committee of the province to the Nghe An Relics Management Board for excellently fulfilling its tasks and leading the patriotic emulation movement in 2021.

The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism also awarded Certificates of Merit to one collective and two individuals for their outstanding achievements in protecting and promoting the value of cultural heritage during the 20 years of building and developing the Nghe An Relics Management Board.
