BYD car models expected to launch in Vietnam in 2025
In 2025, the electric and hybrid vehicle market in Vietnam will be more vibrant with a series of new products from BYD. The Chinese car company plans to bring sedan and MPV models integrated with DM-i technology, meeting the needs from popular to high-end segments.
The BYD SEAL 5 DM-i is a C-size sedan with a youthful fastback design. The car is equipped with an 18 kWh Blade battery, capable of operating on pure electricity for a distance of 115 km before switching to hybrid mode. With an expected price of about 500 million VND for the standard version and more than 600 million VND for the high-end version, the SEAL 5 DM-i promises to become a notable choice in the affordable hybrid sedan segment.
The BYD M9 DM-i is a high-end hybrid MPV that focuses on comfort and convenience. This model stands out with its business class seats, suitable for families as well as customers who love luxury. The expected listed price ranges from 1.9 billion VND for the standard version to about 2.4 billion VND for the premium version.
