Retirement age table in 2025 according to the latest year of birth
The retirement age in 2025 will continue to be adjusted according to the new roadmap, with men increasing by 3 months and women increasing by 4 months each year.
Legal basis for retirement age
According to Clause 2, Article 169 of the 2019 Labor Code, the retirement age under normal conditions will be gradually raised to 62 years old for men in 2028 and 60 years old for women in 2035.
From January 1, 2021, the starting retirement age is regulated:
Male: 60 years and 3 months old.
Female: 55 years and 4 months old.
Each subsequent year, the retirement age increases by 3 months for men and 4 months for women until reaching the specified milestone.

Specific regulations in Decree 135/2020/ND-CP
In Article 4 of Decree 135/2020/ND-CP, the Government issued a detailed roadmap to apply to employees under normal conditions:
Male:increasing gradually until reaching age 62 in 2028.
Female:gradually increasing until reaching 60 years of age in 2035.

Pursuant to Appendix 1 issued with Decree 135/2020/ND-CP, the retirement age table in 2025 is applied as follows:
Male workers:Retirement age in 2025 is 61 years and 3 months.
Female workers:Retirement age in 2025 is 56 years and 4 months.
