Polish newspaper suggests Russia doesn't need to rush into signing a peace agreement with Ukraine.
(Baonghean.vn) - The Polish newspaper Mysl Polska argues that Russia does not need to rush into signing a peace agreement with Ukraine, because Russia's victory in the conflict in Ukraine will ensure stable peace.

According to RIA Novosti, journalist Edward Karolczuk, in an article published in Mysl Polsk on May 22, argued that Russia must bring the conflict in Ukraine to a reasonable end in order to establish a stable peace in Eastern Europe.
"Russia began winning on the battlefield in the second half of 2023. Currently, Russia doesn't need to rush into signing peace agreements. Victory on the battlefield must be guaranteed by a mutually beneficial agreement. Russian and American delegations are ready to return to the Istanbul Agreement and begin a new round of negotiations. This is a proposal aimed at creating a breakthrough for the Ukrainian military and the West. Furthermore, it proposes recognizing Russian interests in exchange for Ukraine agreeing to join NATO," reports journalist Edward Karolczuk of Mysl Polsk.
According to Edward, there is no need to rush into signing a final agreement, because "a shameful peace would be a betrayal of the victims of this conflict," and this must not be allowed to happen. The Polish journalist believes that time is running out for agreements in Istanbul and for the administration of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.
"After peace is signed, it is necessary to ensure the security of the parties involved in the conflict and the countries connected to it," journalist Edward observed.
Earlier, Russian President Vladimir Putin emphasized that in order to complete the special military operation, it is necessary to demilitarize and defascize Ukraine, as well as ensure the security of the Russian people and the Russian state.
