Nghe An press intensifies propaganda efforts regarding the restructuring of the political apparatus.

The Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department of the Nghe An Provincial Party Committee requests that media agencies continue to intensify information and propaganda efforts regarding the decisive implementation of the restructuring of the political system's organizational apparatus.

On the afternoon of March 5th, the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, and the Provincial Journalists Association held a press briefing for March 2025.

Attending the conference were Comrade Ngoc Kim Nam - Member of the Standing Committee, Head of the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department of the Provincial Party Committee; and members of the Provincial Party Committee: Tran Thi My Hanh - Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism; and Vo Van Dung - Deputy Head of the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department of the Provincial Party Committee. In February 2025, central and local press agencies in the province closely adhered to their principles and objectives, relatively effectively implementing the propaganda guidelines of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department and the state management of the Department of Information and Communications (now the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism).

Press agencies have updated information and promptly reflected current events, political, economic, cultural, social, defense, security, Party building and the political system, meeting the information needs of readers and doing a good job of propaganda and guiding public opinion.

Specifically, the focus will be on publicizing activities commemorating the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of Vietnam (February 3, 1930 – February 3, 2025); and the 70th anniversary of Vietnamese Doctors' Day (February 27, 1955 – February 27, 2025). Information regarding the 27th session (special session) of the Nghe An Provincial People's Council, 18th term, 2021-2026: Approval of a Resolution on the restructuring of specialized agencies under the Nghe An Provincial People's Committee; consideration, discussion, and approval of several other important issues.

In particular, media outlets focused on reporting on information regarding the merger and streamlining of the administrative apparatus in Nghe An province, as well as the announcement of decisions on organizational structure and personnel. They promptly reported on the leadership and management activities of the provincial authorities.

In addition, the press focused on reporting on the issue of tutoring and supplementary education according to Circular No. 29/2024/TT-BGDĐT dated December 30, 2024, of the Ministry of Education and Training. They also promoted and publicized the scenic spots, festivals, and unique cultural features of Nghe An province. Information was provided about the 2025 military recruitment day in various localities within the province. The report highlighted the efforts of functional forces in maintaining security and order, and the implementation of measures to improve traffic safety and reduce congestion.

Some media outlets have reported on the involvement of local Party committees, authorities, and relevant agencies in addressing issues raised by the press and public opinion.

At the conference, media agencies exchanged views on regulations regarding official statements from state administrative agencies, support for press information in their work, challenges facing journalism in the digital age, and the responsibilities of journalists in cyberspace.

Regarding the propaganda orientation for March 2025, Comrade Pham Ngoc Canh - Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department - acknowledged and highly appreciated the role of the press agencies in promptly disseminating information about the province's achievements in various fields.

The comrade suggested that media agencies publicize the policies, directives, and resolutions of the Party and the State. Continue to strengthen information and propaganda efforts to deeply disseminate the content and results of the Action Program implementing the Resolution of the 19th Provincial Party Congress and the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress. Intensify propaganda on Party building and rectification, and the construction of the political system in 2025.

Press agencies continue to intensify information and propaganda efforts regarding the resolute implementation of the reorganization of the political system's apparatus, ensuring timely progress and uninterrupted work; promptly addressing and handling ideological issues among cadres and Party members in agencies and units undergoing mergers, and promptly resolving entitlements and policies for cadres involved in the reorganization in accordance with regulations.

In addition, media outlets should open special sections and columns to prominently publicize major events and holidays. They should focus on promoting news and articles highlighting the potential, advantages, cultural heritage, scenic spots, cuisine, and authentic experiences of Nghe An to attract domestic and international tourists.
