Hot weather creates a favorable environment for rabies outbreaks in dogs and cats. Recently, an outbreak of rabies in dogs occurred in Thanh Nho hamlet, Tan Chau commune, posing a significant risk of community spread as infected dogs have attacked and bitten many other dogs. Although local authorities and veterinary departments have implemented measures to contain and treat the outbreak, many residents remain worried.
