Nghe An Newspaper offers flowers at Kim Lien Relic Site

Before the spirit of President Ho Chi Minh - the genius leader of our Party and people, the great revolutionary journalist and teacher of Vietnamese revolutionary journalism, the collective of Nghe An Newspaper respectfully offers him a fresh flower basket and a stick of incense.

In 2024, patriotic emulation movements were effectively implemented by cadres, reporters and staff of Nghe An Newspaper, creating clear changes, contributing to promoting the agency's activities and excellently completing tasks; many targets set out in the Resolution of the 2024 Conference of cadres, civil servants and public employees were exceeded.

The Nghe An Newspaper Party Committee has closely followed the resolutions and directives of the superiors, focusing on innovation, creativity, and flexibility in leading and directing the implementation of political tasks. The focus is on improving the quality of publications, building many digital media products, ensuring fast and attractive information, contributing to the good implementation of propaganda tasks and guiding public opinion in the province.

The Trade Union, Youth Union, and Journalist Associations have actively and enthusiastically participated in practical and effective movements and activities, and have been evaluated by superiors as having excellently completed their tasks. Social work has also received special attention from the Party Committee, Editorial Board, staff, and reporters of Nghe An Newspaper.

In publishing, Nghe An Newspaper continues to develop in the direction of multi-platform journalism and comprehensively implement the Project "Comprehensive development of Nghe An Newspaper associated with digital transformation in the period 2022 - 2027, with a view to 2030" issued by the Provincial Party Standing Committee.

In particular, on the occasion of the 134th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birthday, Nghe An Newspaper coordinated with the Management Board of Kim Lien Special National Relic Site and the Department of Culture and Sports to build and launch the data press page "President Ho Chi Minh with his homeland Nghe An"; coordinated with the Soviet Museum to launch the page "Nghe Tinh Soviet Climax 1930-1931" towards the 95th anniversary of the Nghe Tinh Soviet Climax.

To effectively promote Party Congresses at all levels, from the beginning of 2025, Nghe An Newspaper will open 4 new columns in print and electronic publications, including: Organizing and streamlining the apparatus; Results of Party Congresses at all levels; New policies; Anti-waste.

In 2024, Nghe An Newspaper was honored to receive a Certificate of Merit from the Central Propaganda Department for "Outstanding achievements in information and propaganda to carry out political tasks in 2023"; Nghe An Provincial People's Committee awarded a Certificate of Merit for "Outstanding achievements in propaganda work for Tet for the Poor in 2024 and charity activities in 2023".

In addition, 3 collectives received Certificates of Merit from the Provincial People's Committee, 2 individuals received Certificates of Merit from the Prime Minister, 29 individuals received Certificates of Merit from the Provincial People's Committee and ministries, departments and branches.

Regarding press awards, in 2024, Nghe An Newspaper won a total of 63 press awards, an increase of 12 awards compared to 2023. Of which, 19 awards were organized by central ministries and branches and 44 awards were organized by provinces and provincial-level units.

Offering incense to commemorate President Ho Chi Minh, the collective of Nghe An Newspaper pledged to continue to innovate the form and content to effectively propagate key tasks, focusing on propagating major topics and major holidays in 2025; improve the quality of publications, expand the construction of specialized pages and topics, comprehensively innovate electronic newspaper publications, and be determined to build Nghe An Newspaper to develop more and more, worthy of the title of Labor Hero in the renovation period.

On this occasion, Nghe An Newspaper also organized a meeting to celebrate the beginning of the new year and deploy professional tasks in the coming time.
