The President highly appreciated the quality of the 2022 National Press Awards. The fact that the awards attracted thousands of works of many genres demonstrated the high sense of responsibility of the press towards the country, truly an important "information bridge" between the Party, the State and the People. Thereby demonstrating the dedication and tireless contributions of the team of journalists; closely following reality to produce works of high topicality, addressing hot spots, criticizing major policies and guidelines of the Party and the State; proposing many creative solutions and good practices that have a widespread and influential influence in society.

President Vo Van Thuong emphasized: Uncle Ho - a great revolutionary journalist taught: "Press cadres are also revolutionary soldiers. Pens and paper are their sharp weapons. To fulfill their glorious duties, press cadres need to cultivate revolutionary ethics, strive to improve their ideology, expertise and culture; focus on political study to grasp the Party and Government's guidelines and policies; go deep into reality, go deep into the working masses".

Therefore, every journalist should remember Uncle Ho's teachings to strive, use them as a compass for their actions, worthy of the people's trust; must always raise awareness and responsibility before the Party, the State and the people; uphold professional ethics, continue to demonstrate dedication, take the lead, and guide public opinion. At the same time, the team of journalists also needs to innovate, access modern journalism technology, and bring information to different infrastructures and media platforms to increase accessibility for the people; and gradually implement digital transformation of journalism.
