Nghe An Newspaper was awarded the Government's Emulation Flag.
(Baonghean.vn) - The Prime Minister has just issued Decision No. 231/QD-TTg, dated March 14, 2023, awarding the Emulation Flag to the collective of Nghe An Newspaper for outstanding overall performance in fulfilling its tasks and leading the patriotic emulation movement of Nghe An province in 2022.

On this occasion, Nghe An province has 5 collectives awarded the Government's Emulation Flag, including: the Office of the People's Committee of Nghe An province, the Department of Transport of Nghe An province, the Department of Education and Training of Nghe An province, the Department of Justice of Nghe An province, and Nghe An Newspaper.
In 2022, the Party Committee and Editorial Board of Nghe An Newspaper led and directed professional efforts to focus on innovation and improving the quality of the Party newspaper's publications to effectively fulfill the task of guiding public opinion in the province, in conjunction with the task of promoting administrative reform and digital transformation within the agency.
The Party Committee and Editorial Board, under the leadership of the professional staff, developed the Project "Improving the overall quality of Nghe An Newspaper and digital transformation in the period 2022-2027 with consideration to 2030," which has been approved by the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee.
In May 2022, the new interface of Nghe An Newspaper's online version was launched, featuring a beautiful design and many convenient features for readers, applying modern display formats and many new sections such as: Activities of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Nghe An Newspaper Television, Multimedia, Digital Transformation; integrating the print newspaper publishing system into the online newspaper.
On November 9, 2022, the Ministry of Information and Communications approved the addition of Vietnamese and English as languages for Nghe An Newspaper (print and electronic versions).
The Party Committee and Editorial Board have also led and directed the establishment of the Nghe An Newspaper Television Department; the Nghe An Newspaper YouTube channel has made remarkable progress, achieving a Silver Play Button. The official Fanpage named Nghe An Newspaper has received a blue verification badge, and the Nghe An Newspaper TikTok channel has rapidly increased its number of subscribers and interactions.
Nghe An Newspaper is the only local Party newspaper in the TOP 10 online newspapers with the most YouTube channel subscribers nationwide; top 5 online newspapers in Vietnam in terms of viewership; and ranked 9th in average views per video.
In 2022, Nghe An Newspaper won 60 journalism awards from the central government, various sectors, and Nghe An province (an increase of more than 18 awards compared to the same period in 2021), along with many Certificates of Merit of various kinds.
