Nghe An Newspaper implements Resolution No. 4 of the 12th Central Committee.

(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of January 20th, Nghe An Newspaper organized a conference to study and understand the Resolution of the Fourth Conference of the Central Committee of the 12th Party Congress.

All cadres, Party members, and staff of the Nghe An Newspaper attended the Conference. Comrade Pham Thi Hong Toan - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee, and Editor-in-Chief of the Nghe An Newspaper - presented the contents of the Resolution.

Before discussing the 27 manifestations of ideological and political degradation, moral decay, and lifestyle deviations, as well as manifestations of "self-evolution" and "self-transformation" within the Party, Comrade Pham Thi Hong Toan outlined three requirements for the issuance of this Resolution regarding Party building and rectification, which also serves as a continuation of the Central Resolution 4 of the 11th Party Congress.

Among the nine manifestations of ideological and political decline, cadres, staff, and reporters of Nghe An Newspaper need to focus on cultivating and nurturing revolutionary ideals and beliefs, trusting in Marxism-Leninism and Ho Chi Minh Thought; consolidating faith in the goal of national independence and socialism; understanding the meaning and importance of theory and studying political theory; and strictly adhering to the Party's organizational principles...

The struggle involves combating a decline in motivation and a lack of exemplary conduct in work; avoiding responsibility, irresponsibility, careless and ineffective work; and failing to fulfill assigned duties and responsibilities. Self-criticism often involves concealing shortcomings and a reluctance to acknowledge them; when shortcomings arise, there is a lack of sincerity and a failure to voluntarily accept disciplinary action.

In criticism, there is deference, avoidance, fear of confrontation, failure to defend what is right, and failure to fight against what is wrong; using criticism to flatter, curry favor, or to slander, defame, criticize, and condemn others with ulterior motives…

Regarding the nine manifestations of moral and lifestyle degradation, the Party's press agency should regularly remind and correct these manifestations, such as adhering to the principle of democratic centralism, lacking close contact with the grassroots, causing waste and loss of state finances, assets, and budget; excessive drinking, etc.

Among the 9 manifestations of"Regarding "self-evolution" and "self-transformation" within the organization, cadres and reporters of Nghe An Newspaper need to clearly understand the manifestations pointed out in the Resolution in order to seriously implement, disseminate, and perform their professional duties well in accordance with the Party's principles and objectives.

For each manifestation, the Editor-in-Chief of Nghe An Newspaper specifically linked it to the role, function, and tasks of Nghe An Newspaper and each specialized department, pointing out manifestations that need serious correction and elimination. This allowed for self-criticism, adjustment, and application in the process of absorbing and cultivating political theory and carrying out professional work in line with the role and tasks of the Party's newspaper agency.

In that context, Comrade Pham Thi Hong Toan emphasized that every cadre, Party member, and employee of the Nghe An Newspaper agency must work towards the goal of disseminating and spreading the objectives, viewpoints, and solutions of the Central Resolution 4 of the 12th Party Congress to all segments of the population.

After thoroughly understanding the content of the Resolution, the Nghe An Newspaper agency will develop and implement a review plan in accordance with the spirit of the Resolution for each cadre, Party member, and employee of the agency.
