Nghe An Newspaper presents Tet gifts to Vietnamese Heroic Mothers
On the occasion of the Lunar New Year of the Year of the Snake (2015), a delegation from Nghe An Newspaper, led by Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu Huong - Deputy Editor-in-Chief and Chairwoman of the Trade Union, along with representatives of the Nghe An Newspaper Trade Union, visited and extended New Year greetings to Heroic Vietnamese Mother Nguyen Thi Chau in Hung Nghia commune (Hung Nguyen district).

Heroic Vietnamese Mother Nguyen Thi Chau, now 91 years old, has been under the care of Nghe An Newspaper since 2016. Mother Chau has two sons who were martyrs, both sacrificing their lives in the resistance war against the US to save the country, in the Quang Tri battlefield in 1972.
On this occasion, Comrade Nguyen Thi Thu Huong and the members of the delegation expressed their gratitude for the great contributions and sacrifices of the heroic Vietnamese mothers in the struggle to protect the Fatherland; at the same time, they kindly inquired about their health, presented them with allowances and gifts, and wished them a Happy New Year; hoping that they would live happily and healthily, always being a source of spiritual support for their children and grandchildren.

This is one of the meaningful social welfare activities that the leadership, staff, and employees of Nghe An Newspaper have implemented during the Lunar New Year; joining hands with society to do a good job of showing gratitude and helping the poor in the province.
