Nghe An Newspaper visits and extends New Year greetings to Vietnamese Heroic Mothers.
(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of February 5th, a delegation from Nghe An Newspaper visited and extended New Year greetings to Heroic Vietnamese Mother Nguyen Thi Chau in Hung Nghia commune, Hung Nguyen district.
Mrs. Nguyen Thi Chau is 94 years old this year and has seven children, two of her eldest sons being martyrs who sacrificed their lives in the resistance war against the US in the Quang Tri battlefield in 1972. Mrs. Nguyen Thi Chau currently lives with her children and grandchildren in Hung Nghia commune, Hung Nguyen district.
In keeping with the spirit of "showing gratitude and repaying kindness," and upholding the principle of "remembering the source when drinking water," Nghe An Newspaper has been supporting Heroic Vietnamese Mother Nguyen Thi Chau for many years. The newspaper's staff, reporters, and employees regularly visit and encourage her during holidays and Tet (Lunar New Year). On the eve of the New Year, Deputy Editor-in-Chief Nguyen Thi Thu Huong wishes Mother Chau and her family good health and a joyful and warm Tet holiday.
