Nhan Dan Newspaper releases music video 'Victory - Bond in Vietnam'
On the morning of April 9, Nhan Dan Newspaper in collaboration with IB Group organized the launch of the music video "Victory - Bond in Vietnam".
The MV records the performance of the band Bond at the World Natural Heritage Ha Long Bay. Through this special music product, Nhan Dan Newspaper hopes to spread the historical, cultural and beauty values of the country and people of Vietnam to the world, contributing to promoting and developing tourism.
Comrade Le Quoc Minh, member of the Party Central Committee, Editor-in-Chief of Nhan Dan Newspaper, Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission, Chairman of the Vietnam Journalists Association attended and introduced the MV and the project "Bond in Vietnam" jointly implemented by Nhan Dan Newspaper and IB Group.
Attending the press conference were Mr. Cao Tuong Huy, Vice Chairman of Quang Ninh Provincial People's Committee; many representatives of press agencies, travel companies, airlines...
"Good Morning Vietnam" is a meaningful international music project of Nhan Dan Newspaper and IB Group, with the goal of bringing top international music to Vietnam and at the same time promoting Vietnamese culture and tourism, first of all combining with filming music videos (MV) to promote tourism, while devoting profits to charity activities and social service.
In October 2024, more than 3,000 audiences at the National Convention Center had a sublime musical feast in the Bond Live In Vietnam program. Applause continuously rang out in the auditorium as traditional Vietnamese culture and landscapes blended into world-famous musical pieces.
Right after the show, the 4 members of the band visited Quang Ninh and filmed the MV "Victory - Bond in Vietnam" in Ha Long Bay, in offshore island areas.
Familiar images such as sunrise on the sea, the life of fishermen in fishing villages, or special natural wonders of Ha Long Bay such as Trong Mai islet, Oan sandbank and especially the mysterious eye on Ha Long Bay - Dragon Eye Island... appearing in the MV along with the performance of the Bond quartet have painted a wonderful picture of the world natural wonder of Ha Long Bay.
In the MV, there is an image of 4 Bond girls wearing traditional ao dai, performing the classic song "Victory" on the sea, which is a stage built underwater and submerged when the tide rises.
Spreading the value of Ha Long Bay
Speaking at the MV launch ceremony, Editor-in-Chief Le Quoc Minh said that in 2023, in the international music project "Good Morning Vietnam", for the first time, Nhan Dan Newspaper cooperated with IB Group to invite saxophone legend Kenny G to perform in Vietnam. After that, Kenny G's MV "Going Home" promoting the image of tourism in the capital Hanoi created a huge buzz.

According to Editor-in-Chief Le Quoc Minh, the second time inviting the Bond quartet to perform in Vietnam also left a strong impression on the public. Nhan Dan Newspaper and IB Group decided to choose Ha Long Bay, Quang Ninh to make a music video for Bond. Promoting the country and people through music videos is a very effective way, when with only a moderate cost, the image of the country and people of Vietnam has the opportunity to reach a large global audience.
Promotional effectiveness increases many times when MV has the participation of world-famous artists, with many fans around the world.
“We believe that the image of the World Natural Heritage Ha Long Bay will spread even more to domestic and foreign tourists, especially music lovers around the world, when appearing in the MV Victory - Bond in Vietnam,” said Mr. Le Quoc Minh.

Thúc đẩy phát triển du lịch Hạ Long

Mr. Cao Tuong Huy also shared the major goals in tourism development of Quang Ninh province such as setting the target of welcoming about 20 million tourists by 2025, of which about 4-5 million are international visitors. At the same time, the larger goal is to turn Ha Long Bay into a destination, a tourism center of Vietnam, the region and the world.

Mr. Cao Tuong Huy, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Quang Ninh province, affirmed: "The MV 'Victory - Bond in Vietnam' brings great value to the Vietnamese tourism industry in general and Quang Ninh tourism in particular. Certainly, as soon as the MV is released to the domestic and international public, the number of tourists to Ha Long will increase day by day. The number of international tourists coming here will also increase."
Responding to questions about exploiting new and beautiful destinations appearing in the MV, Mr. Cao Tuong Huy said that the issue of organizing tourism promotion, building destinations in parallel with preserving the wildness of Mat Rong Island is an issue that Quang Ninh province puts first.
“We are committed to protecting, preserving and promoting the value of heritage in accordance with the Law on Cultural Heritage, as well as the UNESCO Convention on the Protection of Cultural Heritage. This will help maintain the pristine beauty of the island while creating favorable conditions for welcoming tourists,” Mr. Huy added.

Mr. Le Quoc Minh talks about promoting the country's image on music products.
According to Editor-in-Chief Le Quoc Minh, Vietnam is famous for its many beautiful landscapes, landscapes, and delicious food. However, the way tourism is promoted in many destinations has not been as effective as expected.
“Instead of continuing to promote in the usual way, we find another way to introduce the image of the country and its people on classic music, familiar to many generations of domestic and foreign audiences. Through that, we hope that international tourists will pay more attention to Vietnam,” added Mr. Le Quoc Minh.

Overview of the MV launch ceremony.
Responding to reporters' questions about the implementation of the next projects of the "Good Morning Vietnam" program, Editor-in-Chief Le Quoc Minh said that the Organizing Committee has now finalized the band and location for this project in 2025.
"Vietnam has many beautiful places, we hope to be able to make a tourism promotion MV to create a collection of beautiful tourist destinations in Vietnam. I don't know how far we can go without our companions. We thank the companions who have helped us bring top music to Vietnam and continue to accompany us in the future," Editor-in-Chief Le Quoc Minh affirmed.

Editor-in-Chief of Nhan Dan Newspaper Le Quoc Minh presented the MV to Vice Chairman of Quang Ninh Provincial People's Committee Cao Tuong Huy.
Impressions during filming
Sharing about the process of making the MV in Ha Long Bay, Mr. Nguyen Thuy Duong said that when the scene was set at sea for more than 3 minutes, the crew had to plan for a whole year, while the Bond band only had one day to film.
"Because we had only one day to travel between four filming locations, we had to carefully calculate the time to ensure the best filming and the best tide level. The scene at Dragon Eye Island, the tide receded very quickly, making it easy to expose the stage floor. We had to calculate how to film very quickly so that the water level was just ankle-deep to capture the image of the Bond girls as fairies standing in the middle of nature.
Not to mention Hon Trong Mai, when the ship approached to film the MV, it got stuck with many tourist boats. We had to ask the Bay Management Board to intervene to keep the scenery intact in this area before we could film," said Mr. Nguyen Thuy Duong.

Reporter of People's Army Newspaper asked questions to the Organizing Committee.
In the final scene of the sunset on the sandbank, when the tide was low, the crew had to use a basket boat to take the band members to the ship.
“It was a hard day of filming but the whole crew was very excited, forgetting their fatigue. We were also surprised by the excitement of the Bond group. The Bond quartet expressed their love for Vietnamese cuisine and were very impressed with the beauty of the world heritage Ha Long Bay. Today's achievement is the determination of Mr. Le Quoc Minh, IB Group and the production crew, 4 girls from England,” said Mr. Duong.

At the press conference, Editor-in-Chief Le Quoc Minh also shared that localities, airlines, and travel agencies releasing music videos to promote tourism is a responsibility to the country. A representative of Vietnam Airlines said that they will soon send the music videos to partners to integrate them into the airline's planes, expected to be completed this year.
At the launching ceremony on the morning of April 9, the Organizing Committee presented the MV “Victory - Bond in Vietnam” to the leaders of Quang Ninh province, tourism - hotel corporations, airlines, television stations, etc. to spread this special music product, contributing to promoting Vietnamese culture and tourism to domestic and international tourists.
