One suspect arrested in the "gangster's henchman assaulting someone" case at a coffee shop.
Regarding the case of NVT (27 years old) - known online as "the CEO" - in the assault on a coffee shop employee in Vinh Tuy ward, on September 20th, the Criminal Investigation Agency of the Hanoi City Police temporarily detained Nguyen Long Vu (born in 2002, residing in Hop Thinh commune, Bac Ninh province) for investigation into the act of "Disrupting public order".
Earlier, on the afternoon of September 17th, at the "Góc quán" coffee shop, located at T6 Times City Urban Area, Vinh Tuy Ward, Nguyen Long Vu assaulted Mr. NMD (born in 1997; an employee at the shop). Upon receiving the information, the Vinh Tuy Ward Police promptly investigated and clarified the incident.
Initial findings indicate that the incident stemmed from NMD reminding a group of customers, including Nguyen Long Vu, who were sitting at the restaurant, not to smoke. This led to a conflict between Nguyen Long Vu and NMD, resulting in Vu slapping and punching NMD in the face. Regarding other actions of those involved, authorities are continuing to investigate and clarify the matter.
Based on the collected documents, on September 19th, the Investigation Police Department of Hanoi City issued an Order to detain a person in an emergency situation, an Order to arrest a person detained in an emergency situation, and a Decision to temporarily detain Nguyen Long Vu for the act of "Disrupting public order".
