Arrested 1 suspect in the case of "boss's junior beating someone" at a coffee shop
Regarding the case of NVT (27 years old) - the person called "CEO" by the online community, in the case of a coffee shop employee in Vinh Tuy ward being assaulted, on September 20, the Hanoi City Police Department of Investigation temporarily detained Nguyen Long Vu (born 2002, residing in Hop Thinh commune, Bac Ninh province) to investigate the act of "Disturbing public order".
Previously, on the afternoon of September 17, at the "Goc Quan" coffee shop, address T6 Times City Urban Area, Vinh Tuy Ward; Nguyen Long Vu had beaten Mr. NMĐ (born: 1997; working at the shop). Upon receiving the information, Vinh Tuy Ward Police promptly verified and clarified the incident.
Initial determination, stemming from Mr. NMĐ reminding a group of customers, including Nguyen Long Vu, who were sitting at the shop not to smoke; Nguyen Long Vu had a conflict with Mr. NMĐ, leading to Vu slapping and punching Mr. NMĐ in the face. Regarding other actions of related people, the authorities are continuing to investigate and clarify.
Based on collected documents, on September 19, the Hanoi City Police Department issued an Emergency Detention Order, an Emergency Arrest Order, and a Decision to temporarily detain Nguyen Long Vu for the act of "Disturbing public order".
