PC45 coordinated with Chau Thanh District Police to detain 18 subjects to investigate gambling and organizing gambling in the form of cockfighting for money.

According to the investigation results, on the evening of July 15, police detectives suddenly opened fire and surrounded an empty lot behind Thanh Dat coffee shop in Chau Thanh district, controlling 18 subjects who were gambling by cockfighting for money.

The police detained 18 subjects, 18 motorbikes, 18 mobile phones, a scale, tape, cock spurs and two fighting cocks, and seized 48.5 million VND.

Working with the police, the subjects initially confessed that the cockfighting arena had only been open for one day. The cockfighting arena was organized and owned by Huynh Minh Thanh (34 years old, residing in Dong Hoa commune, Chau Thanh district).
