Two suspects arrested for luring numerous women abroad into prostitution.
The two suspects trafficked women seeking employment to a country in the Middle East, promising them jobs in restaurants or as high-paying domestic helpers, but in reality, it was prostitution.
On February 21st, the Investigation Police Department of Quang Binh province issued a decision to initiate a criminal case, indict the suspects, and detain Le Thi Anh Suong (born in 1985, residing in An Thuy commune) and Le Thi Giang (born in 1977, residing in Phong Thuy commune, both in Le Thuy district) for 4 months for the crime of human trafficking.

Initial investigations revealed that from January 2024 to February 2025, Suong and Giang used Facebook and personal connections to search for and lure women to Kuwait (a country in the Middle East) to work in restaurants or as domestic helpers with attractive salaries.
However, upon arrival, the victims were forced into prostitution to serve the illicit profit-making purposes of the traffickers.
Initially, investigators identified seven victims, including six women from Quang Binh and one from Thanh Hoa. All were involved in prostitution in Kuwait under the direction of Suong and Giang.
