Arrested 2 subjects tricking many women into going abroad for prostitution
The two subjects took women who were looking for jobs to a country in the Middle East to work in restaurants or as maids with high salaries, but in reality, they were engaged in prostitution.
On February 21, the Investigation Police Agency of Quang Binh Province issued a decision to prosecute the case, prosecute the accused, and temporarily detain Le Thi Anh Suong (born in 1985, residing in An Thuy commune) and Le Thi Giang (born in 1977, residing in Phong Thuy commune, both in Le Thuy district) for 4 months for human trafficking.

Initial investigation results show that from January 2024 to February 2025, Suong and Giang used Facebook and personal relationships to search for and lure women to Kuwait to work in restaurants and as domestic helpers with attractive salaries.
However, upon arrival, the victims were forced into prostitution to serve the illegal profiteering purposes of the subjects.
Initially, the investigation agency determined that there were 7 victims, including 6 women in Quang Binh and 1 person in Thanh Hoa. All of them had engaged in prostitution in Kuwait under the direction of Suong and Giang.
