Two South Korean nationals wanted internationally by Interpol have been arrested.
Both suspects chose the coastal area of Da Nang, where many foreigners live, to hide and avoid detection.
On September 28th, the Da Nang City Police handed over two South Korean nationals, who were wanted internationally by Interpol, to the Criminal Police Department of the Ministry of Public Security.fraudand caused serious bodily injury.
The two suspects are South Korean nationals Yon Taiyi (50 years old) and Nam Kiwon (51 years old). Yon Taiyi is wanted by Interpol since July 23, 2021, for fraud. Nam Kiwon has been wanted since August 16, 2021, for causing serious bodily injury to another person.

Previously, after receiving a request for cooperation from the Criminal Police Department - Ministry of Public Security, the Da Nang City Police forces expanded their investigation, tracing and searching for information related to these two suspects.
After some time, police detectives in Da Nang City arrested Yon Taiyi at an apartment in My An Ward, Ngu Hanh Son District. The suspect Nam Kiwon was arrested while hiding in a homestay in Phuoc My Ward, Son Tra District.

Currently, the Criminal Police Department of the Ministry of Public Security is carrying out the necessary procedures to hand over these two South Korean suspects to the South Korean authorities.
