Two individuals arrested for using electric shock devices to catch aquatic products.
(Baonghean.vn) - On January 7th, Nhon Mai Border Guard Station (Nghe An Border Guard Command) completed the dossier for processing according to the law regarding the act of using homemade electric shock devices to exploit aquatic resources.
Previously, on January 5, 2024, while on patrol duty upstream of the Ban Ve hydroelectric river in Nhon Mai village, Nhon Mai commune, Tuong Duong district, the task force of Nhon Mai Border Guard Post discovered Lo Van Hoi, born in 1965, residing in Khe Quynh village, Xieng My commune, and Nguyen Van The, born in 1968, residing in Cua Rao 1 village, Xa Luong commune (Tuong Duong district), using electric shock devices to exploit aquatic resources.
The seized items included two sets of homemade electric shock devices.
The Nhon Mai Border Guard Station has conducted investigations, verified the facts, and completed the necessary paperwork for processing in accordance with the law.
