Two suspects arrested for stealing a road roller from Nghe An province and transporting it to Hanoi for sale.
(Baonghean.vn) - Just one day after receiving the report, the Thanh Chuong District Police arrested two suspects for theft and recovered the stolen property to return it to the victim.
On July 6th, the Thanh Chuong District Police announced that they had recovered a road roller, the stolen property from a theft case, and returned it to the victim.
Previously, on July 4th, the Thanh Lien Commune Police in Thanh Chuong District received a report from the director of a company in Vinh City stating that: Around February 2022, the company had parked a road roller worth approximately 150 million VND in the Thanh Lien Commune area, Thanh Chuong District. On the morning of July 4th, 2022, upon inspection, it was discovered that the vehicle had been stolen.

Immediately after receiving the report, the Thanh Lien Commune Police, in coordination with the Criminal, Economic, and Narcotics Police Team of the District Police and the Thanh Thinh Commune Police, proceeded to verify, investigate, and clarify the matter.
Through the coordinated and effective use of professional measures, on July 5, 2022, just one day after receiving the report, the Thanh Chuong District Police arrested Nguyen Van Quoc (born in 2002), residing in Thanh Thinh commune, and D.V.D. (born in 2004), residing in Thanh Linh commune, Thanh Chuong district, for the crime of theft.

Through investigation, the police clarified that in May 2022, the two suspects stole the road roller and sold it in Hanoi for 150 million VND.
The Thanh Chuong District Police have now recovered the stolen property and returned it to the victim.
