Two suspects arrested in decapitation case in Vinh Phuc.

On July 4th, Colonel Pham Van Son, Deputy Director of the Vinh Phuc Provincial Police, stated that in connection with the case of a young man who was fatally stabbed on the night of July 3rd, the investigative police have arrested and detained two suspects involved in the incident.

The suspects include: Tran Cao Thai (23 years old), residing in Ward 1, Huong Canh town, Binh Xuyen district (Vinh Phuc); and Nguyen Van Cuong (32 years old), residing in Yen Lac district (Vinh Phuc).

Hoang Dinh Thu (27 years old), residing in Dinh Hoa district, Thai Nguyen province, suffered serious injuries and has been transferred to Viet Duc Hospital for treatment. The Vinh Phuc Provincial Police have also assigned a task force to guard this individual.

Earlier, at around 10 PM on July 3rd, a brawl broke out between two groups of young men in Ward 1, Huong Canh town. One person was subsequently hacked to death on the spot, his body and head separated. The victim was identified as Nguyen Minh Toan (26 years old), residing in Huong Canh town.

Upon receiving the report, the Criminal Investigation Department of the Vinh Phuc Provincial Police, in coordination with the Binh Xuyen District Police, immediately launched an investigation and pursued the suspects involved that same night.
